…. as our spring flowers flourish in the planters outside, so are we in 2023! With new faces that have joined our team and the additional treatments we can now offer, 2023 has taken off with a promising start.

We finally opened up our waiting area to everyone and were delighted by all the positive comments received on how modern and relaxing our new waiting room now feels.

Dr Jonathan Lawrence celebrated 5 years of working with the practice in February and we welcomed our new Implantologist, Dr Tarek Aldairy.

Dr Christine Forbes has now joined forces with Dr En-Qi Chi to offer Invisalign treatment to the growing number of patients wanting straighter teeth and our hygienists (Victoria, Claire and Joanne) have been working incredibly hard to keep all your gums pink and healthy. Of course, none of this is possible without the support of our Nurses and Receptionist who always go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable as we continuously deliver the  highest standard of care to all of you.

Dr Tarek Aldairy has a special interest in implants and a wealth of knowledge and experience in this speciality. He has started to place implants with great success here and we look forward to helping more patients explore the option of implants to replace missing teeth.
What are dental implants ?

• Dental Implants are a fixed alternative to replacing missing teeth. They are specially tailored titanium screws which integrate fully into the jaw bone. They look like teeth, feel like teeth and function like teeth.
• Implants offer better stability to dentures, which in turn facilitates chewing and digestion, improves comfort and facilitates speech.
• Implants are much more comfortable and discreet than dentures because they do not cause unpleasant friction or movement on the gums.
• Implants have a success rate of up to 95% lasting more than 25 years if maintained well.

Did you know our hygienists can now offer much more than gum treatment?

As dentistry evolves, Hygienists are now able to extend their skills outside the scope of gum disease. We are proud to say that they are now able to offer so much more to complement our dentists such as Teeth Whitening and Skin rejuvenation treatments.
Victoria, one of our hygienists recently completed further training in Teeth whitening and Skin rejuvenation treatment and will now be also working alongside Dr En-Qi Chi to provide the following :

• Wrinkle reduction treatment
• Lip fillers
• Non-surgical treatment called Mesotherapy to deliver vitamins and minerals to rejuvenate skin
• Neck lifts
• Corrective treatment for dark areas under the eye

We will be planning an exciting open evening event in the summer to introduce these treatments   watch this space….
